Gameplay Basics

Nexus Nemesis is a strategic card game where you battle an AI opponent using a deck of cards. Each player starts with 30 health, and the goal is to reduce your opponent's health to 0.

  • Turn Structure: Players alternate turns. On your turn, you gain mana (up to 10 max) and draw a card. Use mana to play cards from your hand.
  • Playing Cards: Drag cards from your hand to the board. Minions can be played on your minion board (max 7 minions), while spells target specific areas like the enemy hero or minions.
  • Attacking: Minions can attack once per turn after their first turn on the board. Click a minion, then click a target (enemy minion or hero). Taunt minions must be attacked first.
  • End Turn: Click the "End Turn" button to pass to the AI. The AI will play cards and attack based on its strategy.
  • Winning: Reduce the enemy hero's health to 0 to win. If your deck runs out, you take fatigue damage each turn.

Tip: Balance offense and defense—use Taunt minions to protect your hero and spells to control the board!

Card Collecting

Build your collection in Nexus Nemesis by minting and purchasing card packs. Each card can belong to a tribe, have rare traits, and additional abilities.

  • Minting Cards: Use the "Mint Random Card" feature to create a new NFT card (up to 100,000 total mints). Each minted card gets a unique serial number and owner.
  • Buying Packs: Purchase packs (Starter, Premium, Legendary) with GBUX. Packs contain 3-10 cards with varying probabilities for rare tribes like Ethereal Signature.
  • Tribes: Cards belong to tribes like Iron Will (Silver), Blood For Conquest (Red), etc., each with unique upgrades (e.g., Iron Will minions gain +1 HP if multiple are on the field).
  • Rare Traits: Some cards have traits like Life (+1 Health), Fire (+1 Attack), or Foil, increasing their value and power.
  • Library: Add minted cards to your library for use in gameplay. View your collection in the Card Library modal.
